Hubungan Kualitas Pelayanan Keperawatan Dengan Kepuasan Pasien Rawat Inap Di Rumah Sakit Ibu Dan Anak Murni Teguh Rosiva Medan
Abstract
One type of health service in a hospital is inpatient care. Poor quality of nursing care can lead to decreased patient satisfaction, increased patient anxiety, and decreased trust in the nursing care provided. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and inpatient satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative research using a correlational study design. The study was conducted at Murni Teguh Rosiva Medan Hospital. The population was 88 patients per month and all of them were sampled, with total sampling. Analysis was carried out univariately in the frequency distribution table and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. This study shows that most inpatients are aged 21-40 years (72.7%), female (90.9%), highly educated (65.9%), and employed (52.3%). The majority of inpatients stated that the quality of nursing care is in the good category (72.7%) and were satisfied with nursing care (69.3%). The quality of nursing care is significantly related to inpatient satisfaction at Murni Teguh Rosiva Women and Children's Hospital, Medan, with a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05). It is concluded that inpatient satisfaction is driven by good quality nursing care. It is recommended that nurses are advised to undergo regular training to maintain high standards of nursing care for inpatients.
